Russian Brilliants^® is a laboratory-grown stone that is classified as a diamond simulant. A simulated diamond simulates or imitates the appearance of a mined diamond, but does not duplicate the characteristic chemical and physical properties of the natural gemstone. While Russian Brilliants® simulated diamonds do an excellent job of duplicating the appearance of a mined diamond, they are not the same thing as a mined diamond.
